Innsbruck

"We're so glad you're here."

⛅
Welcome back!
Checking today's mountain weather…

Welcome to Innsbruck, a quiet studio tucked into the wooded foothills just above Helen, inside the gated Innsbruck community. Downtown's shops, restaurants, and the Chattahoochee are about five minutes away, and when the streets get busy you come home to treetops and quiet. It's meant to be unhurried, warm, and genuinely restorative.

The deck is the heart of it all. Whether it's coffee as the treetops catch the morning light, a glass of wine as the evening cools, or the four-poster king after a long day of hiking and tasting, this is where time slows down. Make yourself entirely at home.

Arrival & Check-In

Check-In
4:00 PM
Your door code is sent prior to arrival. Check-in is fully contactless via smart lock, but your first visit requires a stop at the Innsbruck front gate.

Arriving at Innsbruck

  1. 1Before you leave home: Reply to our pre-arrival message in your booking thread with your vehicle's make, model, license plate number, and state of registration. We'll register you with the front gate so check-in is smooth.
  2. 2Do not navigate directly to the property on your first arrival. Instead, navigate to the main Innsbruck entrance near the intersection of Brucken Strasse and Bahn Innsbruck in Helen. For GPS, use 212 Brucken Strasse, Helen, GA, which puts you almost directly across from the front gate.
  3. 3Look for the guard building with a gate and a sign reading "Valhalla Resort | Hotel at Innsbruck." Enter here and check in with the security guard. They'll issue you a gate pass for free entry and exit throughout your stay, plus an after-hours code for the gate keypad and amenity access (pool, tennis, pickleball).
  4. 4Once cleared by security, proceed inside the resort to 55 International Village Drive, Helen, GA 30545. Park in the space marked for Innsbruck. Other spaces belong to neighboring units.
  5. 5It's a short walk to the building. Innsbruck is the far-left unit as you face the building. Look for the oval "Innsbruck" sign beside a wood door with leaf-patterned glass, and take the single step up to the porch. Confirm you're at that door before entering your code.
  6. 6Use your door code on the smart lock to enter. Welcome to Innsbruck.
⚠️ Don't forget your vehicle info. The Innsbruck gate requires pre-registration. Reply in your booking thread with your vehicle's make, model, license plate, and state of registration before your arrival day so we can get you cleared in advance.

  • Sink, mini fridge, and microwave
  • Wine glasses for the evening

⚠️ This is not a full kitchen. There is no stove or oven, so the wet bar is set up for coffee, cold drinks, snacks, and reheating leftovers from dinner in town. Plan on eating out or bringing simple, ready-to-heat food. See for our favorites.

A hotel-style wall unit controls both heating and air conditioning for the studio. Use the controls on the unit to choose heat or cool and set your temperature.

  • The ceiling fan above the bed runs on a pull chain
  • Keep the glass doors to the deck closed while the unit is running

If the room isn't comfortable, message us and we'll help.

Glass doors from the studio open onto your private deck, set up among tall trees. The view changes with the seasons: deep green in summer, fall color in October, and long sightlines through bare branches in winter.

  • Outdoor seating for coffee, a book, or a quiet conversation
  • The deck is yours alone during your stay
  • Please keep voices low in the evening. The studio is in a multi-unit building and neighbors are close.
  • Gated community: Innsbruck has a guard at the front gate. Reply to our pre-arrival message with your vehicle's make, model, license plate, and state before you arrive so the guard is expecting you.
  • Parking: One vehicle only, in the space marked for Innsbruck. Other spaces belong to neighboring units.
  • Entry: Your private door has a smart lock. Your door code is sent before arrival.
  • Quiet hours: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. The studio is one unit in a larger building, so you may hear neighbors coming and going. Please keep noise low.

Step-by-step directions are in .

Your gate pass and after-hours code (issued at the front gate) give you access to the community's amenities:

  • Community pool, seasonal (Memorial Day to Labor Day), shared with residents and other guests. Please follow the posted pool rules.
  • Tennis and pickleball courts, a short drive from the studio
  • Golf course within the community

Valhalla Resort is less than a mile away, with golf, spa treatments at Solasta Spa, dinner at the Caledonia Room, and mountain-view cocktails at the Sky Bar. These are run by a separate business, are open to the public, and charge their own fees. Resort and community amenities are managed by third parties, and some are seasonal.

There is no laundry in the studio. The nearest laundromat is Soap Opera Laundry, 963 Edelweiss St., Helen, GA 30545. Call (706) 779-2066 to check hours before you go.

Mountain power can flicker during storms. It's rare, but if the lights go out:

  • The breaker panel is not accessible to guests, so please don't go looking for it.
  • Call or text us right away at (706) 809-5428 and we'll check from here.
  • If you can, let us know whether neighboring units have power. That tells us whether it's the studio or the whole building.

A car is recommended for everything off the property:

  • 🍺 Downtown Helen: 1.3 miles (~5 min)
  • 🍸 Valhalla Resort: less than a mile
  • 🌊 Unicoi State Park: a short drive
  • 💧 Anna Ruby Falls: a short drive
  • 🥾 Dukes Creek Falls: about 20 minutes
  • 🍷 Sautee Nacoochee wineries: 20 to 30 minutes

Parking is one vehicle in the space marked for Innsbruck.
